Whaaht's Uuppp? NYCE Cruises Is! It's a Cruise planners franchise and subsidiary of NYCE Marketing LLC. Why are we so NYCE? Well I will tell you. When I grew up in New York, between the 60's and 90's I had no idea that I would live and work in the beautiful, lush, mountainous, Dominica, a small rainforest, island in the caribbean for 10 years and be exiled from the life I so enjoyed during the 1980's in the New York City Environs. The Night Clubs, The Beaches, The Music, The People, the Food and the fun! I quickly identified and enjoyed the best social aspects of the local culture which evolved from the traditional aspects I grew up with being from Dominican parentage. I quickly adapted and made my own, what I liked there and in the many islands I visited, and began to create my own scene. Well, I quickly developed a concept and nickname for the people that I met along the way , in the caribbean, many of which tended to be from or spent time in cities like New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Copenhagen, etc. or other big cities with similar life experience and a Flava for the party, especially dance music and jazz lovers. We all enjoyed the caribbean, and morphed our own cultural experience with the best in caribbean culture. As Marketing Director, and CEO of various organizations including a brewery and beverage company, and gourmet Agro food business, I supported events that supported the lifestyle that I manifested around me. The NYCE concept and nickname was an acronym I coined for NEW York City's Exiled. This is the way I felt and found similarity of like Minded souls who enjoyed jazz, deep house, true hip hop, and good rock and roll, as well as reggae, calypso, soca, bouyon, cadence, compa and zouk. People who really found a way to enjoy the authentic and cool caribbean rhythms in the music, people, fresh food and culture, with a certain flava. I observed the way many city people like to vacation, which is very different than the books and no television get aways that are often promoted. I developed festivals, sponsored concerts , village feasts, and various events that was part of the life I missed, with the best talent I could find, in all musical genres with positive lyrics, and rhythmic beats. The Cruise Ships offer so much to so many with Great Food, drink, and Entertainment, why not do this on the vessell taking you to the port of adventure. I always saw the many cruise ships I serviced, as an island buffet or sampling of the islands. The international destinations they cover are vast and we will book individuals and groups worldwide. In many cases we will be their with you in body but sometimes in spirit. However, we will be putting our stamp and endorse or theme, various vacations that appeal to NYCE people and their families. We want you to be able to have a great time as an individual or Group, as well as enjoy time with the grand parents,adolescent, toddlers and the new born baby in a safe environment.
